A Message From Our Founder
Dear Intended Parents,
My name is Patricia Prescott, founder and owner of Assisted Parenthood Services. This program seeks to help Intended Parents match with Surrogates, Egg & Sperm Donors, through the process of recruitment and psychological screening.
Unfortunately despite the best efforts of all involved, there is no guarantee that everyone will become parents through natural means. This has a lot to do with the human body, genetic factors, accidents and so on.
The decision of the Intended Parents to enter into a surrogacy arrangement is often the last among many efforts to form their family. At Assisted Parenthood Services, we will handle your issues related to the process of having your child, to help you have a successful journey. We are committed to helping intended parents find the best match based on their criteria.

How long does the matching process take?
On average, it takes 8–10 weeks to match Intended Parents with a surrogate, egg donor, or sperm donor, depending on specific criteria and availability.
What is included in the psychological evaluation?
Candidates undergo a 60–90 minute clinical interview (sometimes including spouses/partners). In some cases, additional psychological inventories are administered. This ensures emotional readiness and stability before moving forward.
What costs are involved in surrogacy?
Estimated fees include:
Surrogate compensation: approx. US$15,000 (first-time surrogate)
IVF costs: approx. US$12,000
Egg donor compensation: approx. US$10,000
Medical and legal fees: approx. US$3,000+
Agency fees and extras (childcare, lost wages, travel, etc.): variable
Overall, a gestational surrogacy journey may cost around US$55,000 (approx. JM$8.5M).
Do you work with both couples and singles?
Yes, we support both couples and single Intended Parents seeking to build families through surrogacy or donor assistance.
What if I already have a known donor or surrogate?
We provide psychological evaluation, consultation, and support services for known donors and carriers to ensure readiness and alignment with best practices.
